It is a Level 3 qualification, regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), and is widely recognised by UK universities. What will I study? The Diploma focuses on providing you with the essential knowledge and skills for a range of health professions. Mandatory units include: Human Cell Biology Homeostasis and the Endocrine System Nutrition and Digestion Respiration and Circulation The Human Skeletal and Muscular Systems The Nervous System The Urinary System Academic Study Techniques Numeracy in a Health and Care Context Professional Behaviours in Nursing and Health Professions How will I be assessed? Assessment methods vary and are designed to prepare you for the demands of higher education. Entry requirements There are no formal entry requirements, but we will ensure that learners have the necessary skills and personal qualities to manage the course. You will normally be expected to have achieved Level 2 in English and Mathematics or be working towards them.
