Who is this course for?
It is for anyone who wants to work in cyber security one day. You do not need to know anything about it before you start.
Entry Requirements
You should be aged 16 or over. You do not need any qualifications first. It helps if you have done some IT or digital skills before, but it is not a must.

To give you a good base of cyber security knowledge and to help you move on to a higher course in the future.
Course Length
30 weekly sessions, 3 hours each on Tuesdays at 18:00.

This course teaches you the basics of cyber security over 10 weeks. You learn how online crime works, the main words used in the field, the UK laws about data, the threats out there, and the tools that keep systems safe. You do not sit an exam. You build a folder of work, called a portfolio, to show what you have learned.
