Who is this course for?
Parents/carers can bring up to two children per adult, and children must be a minimum of 6 years old and a maximum of 18 years old. An additional form will be sent to you upon course confirmation to confirm these details.

What You Will Learn
This workshop invites parents and children to step into the world of storytelling through an engaging mix of shared reading and creative play. Together, you will use your imaginations to explore characters and emotions, bringing ideas to life through a variety of art and drama activities. The session is designed to build confidence in movement and role play while providing a respectful space to work collaboratively. It is a wonderful opportunity for families to express themselves creatively and grow closer through the magic of performance.
Course Aim
Join us for a fun and imaginative half-term workshop inspired by Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Together we will read the story and step into Max’s world through creative art and drama activities. Children will explore the themes of imagination, emotions, and adventure as they create artwork, move, play, and act out parts of the story. This friendly, engaging session encourages creativity, confidence, and self-expression, offering children the chance to bring the Wild Things to life in their own unique way.

Please bring a notepad, and pen to each session. You may wish to bring a file for any handouts. A laptop with internet access is required for completion of coursework and home learning outside of the classroom (where applicable).
