Summary Craft a beautiful Natural Easter wreath! This workshop teaches you how to design and create a unique decoration using seasonal and natural materials. Who is this course for? Parents/carers can bring up to two children per adult, and children must be a minimum of 6 years old and a maximum of 18 years old. This hands-on session will guide you through the process of designing and constructing your own stunning Easter wreath. Learn to work with various materials, including natural elements, ribbons, eggs, and spring flowers. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, you'll leave with a beautiful wreath to decorate your home or give as a thoughtful gift. Embrace the spirit of Easter with a personalised, handcrafted creation. Course length A one off, 2 hour workshop. Entry requirements None. What you will learn Wreath Base Preparation: Selecting and preparing a suitable wreath base. Understanding different types of bases (e.g., wire, grapevine). Securing and shaping the base for decoration. Material Selection and Arrangement: Choosing and preparing seasonal materials (e.g., flowers, eggs, ribbons). Arranging materials to create balanced and visually appealing designs. Using wire, glue, and other tools to secure decorations. Decorative Techniques: Creating focal points and adding layers of decoration. Working with ribbons and bows. Incorporating natural elements and Easter-themed embellishments. How you will learn Classroom based activity. What you will need to bring Please bring a notepad, and pen to each session. You may wish to bring a file for any handouts. A laptop with internet access is required for completion of coursework and home learning outside of the classroom (where applicable).
