Parents/carers can bring up to two children per adult, and children must be a minimum of 6 years old and a maximum of 18 years old. An additional form will be sent to you upon course confirmation to confirm these details.

What You Will Learn
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll master the art of the ethical bug hunt by learning how to safely use collection pots, sweep nets, and magnifying glasses to observe our tiny neighbours. We’ll dive into the world of microhabitats—from the dark soil to the underside of leaves—to identify common locals like beetles, butterflies, and ants. Most importantly, you’ll discover why these mini-beasts are the true "heavy lifters" of our environment, playing vital roles in pollination and decomposition that keep our local ecosystem thriving.
