Welcome to Spanish Conversation and Culture, an immersive, 6 part course designed to bridge the gap between intermediate language skills and true communicative fluency. It is possible to just book one or two parts throughout the year to keep your language skills refreshed.
This course moves beyond textbook grammar to focus on the heart of the language: how we connect, express, and live. Over the 6 parts, you will explore the diverse tapestries of Spanish-speaking cultures while honing your ability to engage in nuanced, natural, and confident conversation.

Course Length
Part 1 - 6 over the course of the academic year
What You Will Need to Bring
Please bring a notepad, and pen to each session. You may wish to bring a file for any handouts. Access to google classroom for additional materials for the course is advantageous.
How You Will Learn
This is a practical course, and the sessions will include tutor-led demonstrations, learner-led group activities, instruction and repetition. These will form part of the delivery together with one-to-one support as required.
How you will be assessed
This course is designed for learners who already possess a foundational understanding of Spanish and are ready to prioritise speaking and comprehension. You will engage in:

Cultural Deep-Dives: Analysis of current events, regional dialects, and historical contexts that shape the modern Spanish-speaking world.
