A natural progression from Exploratory Watercolours & Inks, this course offers the opportunity to continue experimenting with watercolour, inks and mixed-media approaches while beginning to develop your own creative direction. Explore new techniques, revisit favourite processes and develop ideas into more resolved pieces. For those interested, there will also be opportunities to explore how original artwork might be presented, reproduced or developed for sale - but there is absolutely no requirement to sell your work.

Course Aim
Dive into a joyful and expressive exploration of watercolour and ink in this five-week creative course designed for all abilities. Through playful experimentation, you’ll discover how to let go of perfection, embrace spontaneity, and develop your own unique visual language.
Working with fluid watercolours and expressive ink techniques, you’ll explore colour, mark-making, layering, and mixed media approaches. Each session introduces inspiring techniques and prompts to help you build confidence, loosen your style, and create a rich collection of vibrant studies and finished pieces.
This course is perfect for beginners wanting to build skills in a relaxed, supportive environment, as well as more experienced creatives looking to reignite their creativity and explore new techniques.
By the end of the course, you’ll have developed a personal toolkit of techniques, a body of experimental work, and a deeper connection to your own creative voice.
